Participate in a legacy of habitat rehabilitation and urban wildlife.

Welcome to Los Angeles County Parks’ first Raptor Rescue, located at the San Dimas Nature Center!  With this rescue, we are meeting a huge void and need for wildlife rehabilitation in Los Angeles County, particularly in the eastern and southern portions of the County. Since receiving State and Federal permits, the Raptor Rescue has quickly adopted over 70 raptors into our program! The Rescue anticipates serving more than 250 injured or orphaned raptors annually, all of which will be rehabilitated and returned to our urban wild. With your partnership, the Los Angeles County Parks Foundation is embarking on an active fundraising campaign (launched July 20th, 2024) to support and sustain the Raptor Rescue.

Feed a raptor for a week, or even a month; support a baby from rescue to release; or leave a lasting impact with the construction of a raptor mew. We encourage you to browse our menu of donation options below.
